Good, solid band
I bought this so I could wear my Nano 6G as a watch. It works very well for that. The only reason I removed a star was because I almost had to return it because of the difficulty of removing a link. After it was all done, I realized that the problem was the pin on the link I was removing was damaged. I should have realized that there was something wrong when the tool made very hard work of starting the removal. It finally pushed the pin out.At first, I was afraid I was going to break something but I kept at it and finally got the pin out far enough to pull it out the rest of the way. I couldn't budge it. I finally had to put it out with pliers. I think what happened was that the removal tool had spread the end of the pin. I couldn't imagine that when I was using it but once I had it out I saw that the pin wasn't like a straight pin. It was rolled up. Maybe that is a cheaper or lighter way to do it but, as I found, it has its drawbacks.Obviously, I can never put that pin back in but I don’t see that I ever will. Even if I took steroids and became a hulk, my wrist would pretty much stay the same size. If I get fat enough that my wrist expands, the watch will be the least of my problems.

Disappointing
Previously I purchased leather iWatchz bands; They each broke roughly one year after purchase but until breaking, the bands were handsome and worked will with my Nano. My black band broke this week. I thought I would be smart and purchase the stainless steel version for durability as well as looks. Bless Amazon for a far better price than the $89 on the iWatchz web site and double blessing for the good return policy. Band arrived. I knew I would have to adjust the band as my wrist is on the small side (but still within the parameters the band is advertised to fit)Watchband comes with a tool to remove articulated stainless steel band segments. The small printed (quarter page ) illustrations purporting to show how to use the tool was useless. The company web site has a good video.I watched a few times , then proceeded to remove several segments. . The tool consists of a thin needle with a screw end to twist into the segments to push out the internal pins holding the articulated segments together .First pin came out easily When pushing out the second internal pin, to remove the band segment, the tool needle bent and snapped off. The tool comes with two replacement needles but I could not affix to the screw end of the tool. The second internal pin had started to come out but I could not get it out fully. I believe the internal pin was imperfect which is why the tool was damaged from pressure trying to pull it out.I was going to take the band to a local jeweler as he would have good tools to adjust the band. However, in measuring the band to decide how many segments need removal to fit my wrist I realized that the latch on the watchband would be no longer be centered on the band and would abut on one side of the armband. Clearly this band cannot be adjusted to fit a woman's wrist and still look attractive or close properly. My confidence in the durability of the band also is now shaken.I am returning the watchband posthasteSuggest caution in ordering this band unless your wrist will not require band adjustment

Requires tightening the latching pins
The tool to remove the articulated band segments is useless. I had to go to a jeweler and he had to use a hammer to remove practically all the band segments that allowed removal because this bracelet is made for large wrists. The latching pins are a joke because they fell off after a couple of days of use. So I had taken it again to the jeweler and he said the original pins didn't match the size and had to be replaced... but about after half an hour or so of searching for compatible pins it was finally fixed. Although the pins require some tightening from time to time, we'll see how long they last... Other than that it's a good looking bracelet for the ipod, great fit and great match.

Very Nice, but does Scratch Easily
I can't say enough about this watchband for the Nano. I wanted this set-up since they were new and even now that they are old tech and everyone has a smart watch, I still get questions and compliments (and I still love having so much music on my wrist for whenever I need it). Very nice looking set-up, but it does scratch, so consider keeping the plastic on it or maybe even spraying it with something (?), but regardless, still nice. Also, it was a little small for me (I'm a big dude), but I loved it so much I thought I'd just see if I could buy an extra link. Months after this product is perhaps passé, the company wrote right back and sent me multiple links for free--a very nice touch in this day and age...

Metal watch band
Perfect fit and cheap for a guy I have very small wrists at only 6 inches it's hard to find watch bands that fit me this one was perfect I removed 4 links and I can remove 2 more and you get the tool to do it yourself this one can't b beat my only complaint is if the watch isn't in it for whatever reason the bracket it hooks to is very thin an seams like it could Bend easily but I've had mine for a fiew months now an wear it very day with no problems

Good!
Stainless steel but easily scratched, other than that it looks amazingly genuine. got a lot of compliments! and the tools are very poorly designed. wish it was more accurately pinpointed to remove the screws and I wish the poker pin pressure thing was made of higher quality material that doesn't bend. i was on my last stick before I got it to do what i wanted for the others. Very very careful or else you will break it. Start with the smallest pin because it is more sturdy and strong.

I believe it would be fine on an adult wrist
I bought this for my 12 y.o. son. He is on the small side, so I ended up removing all of the removable links. He said the metal is a bit rough on his wrist. I believe it would be fine on an adult wrist. The tool they give you to remove the links is very flimsy, fortunately, I repair watches of my own and have a better tool to remove the pins. You could do better with a push pin and needle nose pliers. That is why I gave this product 3 stars. Other than that, it seems to be pretty cool with the ipod. Looks like "Dick Tracy".
