Very nice light at a very nice price!
Picked these up on a Gold Box Deal of the Day and haven't regretted it! In fact, I will soon order more. The light output from these bulbs is very comparable to a traditional incandescent - warm and bright, but not harsh white. Does a nice job without altering the look of wall and flooring colors. With a LED-compatible dimmer, these can down to almost zero - just a faint glow, almost light starlight. No flickering or buzzing like some other bulbs I've tried. I've used a lot of the big-box store Cree bulbs, but these have surprised me so pleasantly, I may never go back to Cree again!

They don't last as long as they should.
Most of these bulbs fail before they should. They begin by flickering and then they go dark.

Best Dimmable LED Bulbs I've Found Yet
I have been a reluctant convert to LED bulbs because of how much more expensive they are (prices are dropping, but even $5 a bulb is a hundred fold more expensive than an incandescent), reliability and obsolescence concerns (now what to do with my handful of CFLs that I've replaced with LEDs? They still work but are obsolete, AND an environmental nightmare), color precision (it's obvious not every manufacturer understands the Kelvin color scale), weight (I have 3 brands of LED and they all are significantly different weights and some fixtures aren't able to handle this). The list goes on. But, I also like to save money on my electric bill.So when these were a lightning deal, I pulled the trigger. Mainly because they were dimmable (one of my pet peeves about LED and CFL bulbs is the added expense if you want to dim them, while incandescent bulbs will just dim), and they had great reviews. So far those reviews are well deserved. These bulbs are so good at dimming, that I was taken by surprise by other brands when they buzzed, or didn't dim very much. I expected all LEDs to just dim this well. I'm looking at you GE and Phillips*, get your dimming act together! The only reason I took away a star is because these bulbs claim they are 3000k, which should be just a little less yellow than your typical IC bulb (2700k), but they're white, and I'd guess closer to 4000-4500k (no hint of blue like you will get with 5000k, though). But on the bright side (pun intended) they appear, to me, to put out more than the 800 claimed lumens, so this is a pleasant surprise (generous claims vs actual output are another drawback to LEDs), and they don't have the obvious "cut-off" at the base like some other LEDs (Phillips), so when in a lamp the shade isn't brighter on the top with an obvious cut-off half way down. All in all, while I still don't like paying more than a couple ¢ for a bulb, but since now I have to, my experience with these Energetic Lighting bulbs will keep me coming back to this brand for my LED needs. Hopefully they produce similarly quality candelabra bulbs soon, because the few I've tried from competitor brands have not lived up to my expectations (why bother calling a bulb dimmable when it will only dim, at best, down 25% before either cutting out completely (GE), or flickering and buzzing like crazy (Phillips)?*the Phillips bulbs really are junk (I got mine from BJs), avoid them if you can.

60-watt Equivalent LED Bulbs
I love the very idea of LED lighting for the home, flashlights, auto, etc. These bulbs emit a bit colder light than I anticipated, however they output the expected brightness. Using them with a dimmer is much different than incandescent bulbs. They do not respond in a linear way to inputs from the dimmer switch. Turning the dimmer knob one third of the way may produce no response from the bulb at all. However, turning only a few degrees farther may result in nearly maximum brightness. Thus I usually spend some time cranking the knob back and forth to find the desired level of brightness.

Dimmable bulbs that Do not Dim!
Unfortunately, these bulbs DO NOT DIM! The color & brightness are very good otherwise.I did purchase the "dimmable" version as stated on the packaging & stamped directly on the bulb. I purchased & installed a dimmer specifically for LED lighting. I tried the bulbs in another location with a 2nd switch. After all that, they do not dim.Otherwise, they are good. For myself, every single last one was returned.

Excellent Product
I recently moved to a new home, and I knew before I moved that there would likely be burned out light bulbs. I was not wrong! I have used all but one of these so far, and they are excellent bulbs. They are bright without being glaring. The price was great! I will definitely purchase more of these as the old regular bulbs continue to burn out.

Not what I expected. The light is really yellow :(

A good value and a great way to start saving money on your electric bill
These are great bulbs to replace traditional bulbs with. They are roughly the same size and cast very similar light to traditional 60W bulbs (maybe a bit brighter and whiter though). There is about a half second delay when turning them on but for the savings in electricity it is worth it. They are not meant for wet locations, but I use two outside in my front porch lights where there is very little chance of direct exposure to water. Since they stay on all night, I save money on my electricity bill just with these two bulbs alone. All of the bulbs are the same color without any variations. The dimmable feature works fine. I do not detect any shades of blue with these bulbs, so don't worry when you hear "LED". If you are new to indoor LEDs, they have come a long way in recent years, especially with price. These bulbs are a good value.
