If you are buying this mug to use for hot tea, hot coffee, or hot cocoa, be warned...it is NOT microwave safe! It does not say this anywhere in the description or on the box. I only found it in the Q&A section when I came to write this review (after burning my thumb and forefinger). I had it in the microwave for 50 seconds and it blistered my fingers. Thank goodness I didn’t have the kids make their own hot chocolate. Another reviewer said the ears burned her face. I am kicking myself now because I ordered my child a fox mug first and sent it back for this one, which will now be used for decorative purposes only (to prevent accidents).

Design is very cute, and I was really excited for the one I ordered in pink to arrive. When it came, the packaging was all beat up and the mug itself has a small dent near the nose, the paint is very sloppy and much closer to white than pink, and the shape of the mug is wonky and distorted when you look at it from the top. It's still useable, but since I paid this much just for a mug, I expected it to be a much higher quality.

I've wanted this mug for years. One for myself and one for my friend. I finally got it and was so excited. Then I realized it was not microwavable and not really dishwasher safe. I figured I'd just make my hot water and pour it in the mug to use it. One day, when my head was in the clouds I decided I wanted to reheat some tea and blindy put the mug in the microwave for 1 minute. Upon opening the microwave I grabbed the handle, smelled burning flesh and screamed for high heaven. I'm an idiot with a first degree burn on my right hand, but there's really NO REASON this could not have been made microwavable. It's a mug for goodness sake. I don't feel too comfortable gifting it now. I have another mug with a gold handle and embellishments on it and those are microwavable. Blows

This is a beautiful cup especially the detailing I love cats and my own cat’s so this is a cat lovers cup. However now it’s getting coldI was excited to finally use my new cup to find it to be cracked non usable 😕and it’s to late to get a refund especially if your like me uses one time cards the refund just goes back to your account payments. So that’s my experience it’s possible it could of been roughly handled by delivery ppl but allI know it’s a big crack going down the side and you can hear it cracking while your sipping your drink. Not useable

This mug is so cute...I want to buy a few of them and get rid of all of my other mugs at home!For those complaining about not microwaving - DUHH, IT HAS METAL ON IT - you can't microwave metal! Lol. You shouldn't leave a poor review for your lacking in common sense.Anyhow, super cute, love it, recommend highly.

I bought this because I liked the gold on the black for my work mug. I now only use it to hold pop tabs, loose coins, and tacks for my board (have fun getting to my change!). It is fine for display, but not good at all for drinking out of. It is a simple design, but when you drink out of it, the lip always leaks due to the edge of the mug. The edge is too thick and isn’t shaped well to prevent drips from going down the side every time you take a drink. I tried using it for a while, but I got tired of that struggle bus.

This mug so so cute with the cat face, yet because of the gold accents it is very chic! It would make an amazing gift for friends, family or yourself! It’s decently sized and even though the front side has the cat ears on the rim, the other side is normal, so it’s easy to drink out of. It’s very sturdy - I was expecting it to be fragile. It would be a great addition to any cat lovers collection!

The mug is great. Beautiful design for any cat lover. The only problem I had was the color. I ordered a pink mug and i got what seems to be a white mug. The inside of the mug looks to be a VERY faded pink but it's really hard to see. The outside is definitely white though so I'm not sure what happened there. Its still cute and works the same but I would have rathered it in pink.

Such a lovely mug, quite big too.
