Review and first impression 23 PCs. RX Weld 12 Pyrex Glass Cup set 3/32
The media could not be loaded. Haven’t gotten around welding SS metal since I got a Tig welder a year ago.Got some SS Plate. And ordered some 309L filler. Tig weld practice with what I thought was a 10 Pyrex Glass Cup, actually is around 9 Pyrex Cup. Result are not so great using that cup. I thought I try the larger cups sold at Amazon.Decided to get the RX Weld 23 PCs set. Shipping was taking a while and getting anxious to try Tig welding SS metal so I end up also ordered a FUPA 12 cup straight from Furrick after a couple of weeks waiting for the RX Weld set to arrive.Started practicing on the FUPA 12 cup on .125 1/8 Inch plate and getting very good results. Thought of just cancelling the RX Weld order as from pictures, description, and reviews, the RX set will probably not perform as expected as 23 PCs set did not come with a screen (diffuser) on the 12 Cup.Well, it arrived the next day.To my surprise, the set I got came with 1 Screen Diffuser for the cup and some extra RED O rings. Maybe this is the new Set from RX weld vendor for their 23 PCs set.Got to test. I was impressed. The result where at PAR with FUPA Ceramic Cup.NOTE: I am a hobbyist welder making this comment. Still need lots of seat time how to weld SS metal.Once assembled and use a few times, kind of hard to remove the O rings. So yeah, it fits and snug.Screen diffuser stays there as well. I tried to use a 1/8 tungsten and it fits as well. Also, there is another RX Weld set that has 31 PCs sold at amazon. That 31 PCs set came with 2 Screen diffusers for the 12 Cup. If this is your very first time using the 12 Pyrex Glass Cup, you might want to consider getting the 31 PCs set vs this RX Weld 23 PCs set. Also, the White insulators, aftermarket Insulators for a CK17 torch, most of them don’t fit. I just use a Dremel and ream the inside a few mm and they work.Video attached, my very first attempt to weld .037 thick SS metal. Still got a lot to learn and practice Tig welding SS metal.

Good value for the money.
My go-to tig cups are currently backordered, so I needed something quick to get me by. This set is priced well for the quality. I would not rely on them in a professional environment, but they will get me by for the next few weeks. Would be a great gas lens for a hobbyist or weekend warrior

Excellent set
This set works really well. The people having a hard time probably bought the wrong setup or are incompetent.

No instructions
Well packaged, presented well but what do I do with the screen in the baggie? Where do I put the "O" rings?Think I have it figured out and worked well so far. I think a little written or even a picture instructions we be or had been nice!

Low quality
Thought this would help in small areas welding in chassis cars but had issues with sucking air around the o rings even tried two o rings put my old set up back on and no issues... but really like the clear cup

Nice set
Improved my welding results instantly comparing to the kit that came with my welder. I never bought a different brand (for more than double the price) to compare this but I can say for sure this set my welds 10x better.

Great deal
I used the kit for a large tig brazing project. Worked great without any problems.I added a second silicone band to the head to help affix the cup to the body. The bands are a little thin. There are plenty of extras in the kit.
