This shirt is more purple than it is maroon. Actual color does not match photo. Most of the Axist shirts I've purchased from Amazon are made of the same material, meaning they all look and feel the same. Which is a good thing because they do look and feel great. Just find your ideal color and pattern, you'll be all set.
