EZSyncUSB Programming Serial Cable for Racermate, CompuTrainer, Velotron Racermate One, EZSync022

I bought this so that I can use my old Racemate Computrainer with Zwift and Trainer Road. Connects directly from Racemate device marked "computer" to laptop USB port. Started up laptop and Zwift a little light flashed from clear USB plug...success! Both Swift and Trainerroad worked perfectly fine on my laptop immediately. The nice thing about having a hard wire connection like this there are no drops like you get when connecting a Bluetooth device. If using for Zwift or Trainerroad you would still need some sort of ANT device to connect your speed cadence and/or power devices. I think the key to ensuring that your smart trainer works well with approved devices using this connection is to ensure that you have the appropriate graphics, Ram etc that's recommended by the software developers for these programs.

I have been using the EZSync022 cable for my computrainers for years and they work great. There have been some issues on them not "pairing in" successfully. It wasn't from the cable being faulty, but the program in the computer not recognizing the new cable. There is an easy fix by going into computer’s Documents directory and delete the Zwift file associated with the old cable, then restart Zwift. This allows the program to recognize the new cable.

worked with an old Racermate unit just fine. It does require you to download the usb to serial ftdi driver (it is free) in order to work.

Bought this to use with a computrainer. It works great! The lights are helpful in letting me know when the connection between computer and the trainer is active. (When I need to reboot)

It works great with our Velotron (Racermate)! I'm so glad this is still available now that Racermate is no longer. My stepfather was a founder of the company, and after he passed away my mom gave us his Velotron. I wish the cable was a little longer, but otherwise it's perfect.

If you have a problem with the cable pairing with Zwift do the following: Go to documents folder and find the file labeled Zwift. Change the name to something else restart the computer and restart Zwift. The new cable will get a new com port number and zwift was looking for the old one in the documents folder.

Simple as plugging it in and working. I needed this cable to connect my Computrainer to my computer. It worked flawlessly the first time. So far exactly as advertised.

I needed to get a new adapter as the original one that came with my Computrainer wasn't being recognized anymore on both my Windows Laptop and my MacBook Pro (2011). After I got this, it was recognized immediately and works without any problems. Perfect. Thanks!
