Initial review (occasional yoga mat user)
Received this product today so I am only reviewing it my first impression.I have been looking for a new yoga mat bag that has a zip as the drawcord on the fabric bag I have is withering; albeit after nearly 20 years with occasional use. Tick. (I also have grip/mobility and hypermobility problems and find zips a little easier to use). That isn't canvas. Tick. That is comfortable to carry on the shoulder; so far, tick.At the moment it is storing my Warrior Mat - which isn't the lightest of mats - and initially is more comfortable to carry than my previous bag.I don't know if it's waterproof as such, maybe splashproof, but the lining is waterproof so water shouldn't seepthrough (?).I am however in two minds about the price tag. If the bag was to be used frequently time will tell concerning the straps durability. There are white markings on the inside from where it has been folded and doesn't scream great quality. However, having said that there are others out there that are fabric and/or drawcord and are more expensive that is doing the same thing. So in comparison this is the cheaper range 'zipped' bag that may I can store my yoga mat in.

Fab bag
Fantastic quality and great design, love the price as very similar bags are twice the price.I'm using this for my barbell protector/pad which is like a rolled up yoga mat. I can easily fit in my other stuff : cable cuffs, booty bands, small sweat towel and 2 litre water bottle. It has a great pocket for my phone, keys and headphones with room to spare. Really pleased with the thick durable material and waterproof lining.I can easily take this around the gym as I train as its compact and won't get it anyone's way.

Excellent but for the pocket
I like the full length zip which makes it easy to place the mat in the bag. The material looks good and will have some water resistance. The shoulder strap works well. However, the pocket has no gusset (unlike the images) and whilst I can get a mobile phone in it, it is far too tight for a water bottler (7 Cm diameter). Indeed I think it would struggle to hold any size or shape of water bottle.

Good value bag
The bag looks good and is good value for the price. There is enough space for a strap, bottle of water and purse but you do have to roll your yoga mat up quite small to get it to fit well, it does come with an additional mat strap which helped, it was occasionally quite difficult to do the zip up.

its a smart bag- but the handle aways feels as if it is about to tear
i really like this bag for the most part. 2 issues. its a tight squeeze after hot yoga class with a mat that isn't tightly wound, but this is a minor issue. mainly i would just like the handle to be more sturdy. it feels on the edge of tearing out of its stitching the whole time. i don't expect it to last but so far so good.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t buy !!! I used it this morning and sling it onto my bike whilst I cycled to class. When I arrived, the strap was almost completely hanging off and the zip had broken in the middle ! Absolute waste of money !!!
