Magna-flip Clip on Flip up Magnifiers +2.50 Diopter

I will have to get cataract surgery soon, which means I have trouble resolving small things. I have a technical book that uses subscripts in formulas that are too small for me to read using my normal reading glasses. I just flip down the computer eyes as needed.I also use them while soldering components to circuit boards I design (a hobby).This is a better design than another pair that I had which connected the two lenses with a continuation of the plastic of the lenses. That pair broke in my pocket and twice more after I glued them together with epoxy. These lenses are connected by a metal frame which is more flexible.

A bit clunky and lower quality but they do the job. If you have any type of curve to the bill of your hat these are almost useless

PRO’s: Its cheap, gets the job doneCON’s: rubber ends that are suppose to stop it from scratching your glasses fall off easy ( needs to be glued on by you to stay on), cheap plastic clip ins scratches really easy, cheap plastic smears, fogs and gets finger prints really easy. Not very durable( breaks after 1.5-2 yrs of daily usage)Conclusion: you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a cheap solution for a short time. These will work fine. But I use these daily at work and they don’t last as long as I’d like. Plus, I’m constantly having to clean them from finger prints, fog and smugs.

They work great and magnify enough to use on the computer without having to take my glasses to see the screen. A little on the heavy side but you get use to it.

Light weight. Magnification was consistent. I used it for tying small trout flies to small leaders.

It's ok the clips bothers me so I don't use it
