Puller could still use an improved way to release the cable ,but it's the same product that still works. You can rearrange the pins on the hook in order to be able to use the full cable length (half the pulling strength, but twice the usable length.) Works just like the one I had 20+ years ago.

Unit Disconnect does not work. When the handle is moved TO THE Ratchet release position the release does not work. I will be returning the unit>

The description indicates there is 13' of cable and is used for lifting - emailed seller to confirm, they confirmed - upon delivery there was less than 10' od cable and a label on the handle that it is not designed for lifting.
