Easy to use. I haven't figured out how to charge it. And I am assuming it will eventually need to be charged as it has an off on switch. That having been said, it is about the size of a karaoke microphone head. It is pretty sturdy.All you do is turn it on with the little switch on the side, and plug it directly into your 3.5mm jack on your smartphone or tablet or laptop.Sound wise, it has decent volume, but does get a little tinny at higher volumes. If your a music lover and have tones of Bose speakers, this little guy won't compare to well, but for a perfectly sized, addition to your bag notgoodies, it is more than then enough for increased volume for playing movies, listening to some basic music or audio tracks, and even gaming.For the price an the quality, get it.

Works well and as intended. I use this because my office phone is not authorized for bluetooth access to other devices so while driving it helps for me to hear the map directions.
