IRH All-Terraiin Helmet

Fits my oval shaped head! Finally! I tired an Ovation that was made to fit basketballs and then also a Troxel lesson helmet that was close, but still tight in the temples. Highly recommend if you need an oval fit.I do not find this helmet to be especially low profile, but I supposed it's as good as modern technology can do at this price point.

I purchased this for my husband for his birthday. After trying to get him to wear a helmet unsuccessfully with two previous helmets (both Troxel), I scored a winner with this helmet in the brown color. It fits him much better than either of the Troxels. He likes the look (that was the biggest problem with the other 2 helmets even though one was the western style helmet from Troxel). He is constantly receiving compliments on this new helmet.The easy "dial a fit" system works well. The helmet also comes with 2 different thicknesses of pads to further refine the fit. The mesh sides help with ventilation. The people he was riding with today both liked it so much they both plan on purchasing the same helmet. Great value and ... Head protection!

I got my helmet 2 weeks ago and have worn it on 3 rides so far. I absolutely love it. Make sure you follow the directions for sizing. Don't guess your size! I think that is where it gets the mixed reviews where I see people complaining about the fit. I ride western and have never worn a helmet in my life. This is comfortable! And looks great. I love the 2 different ways to tighten it for a perfect fit. It does not shift at all at a trot or lope.
