Get the stronger pump.
This drained the water off the pool cover(30,000 gal pool) Eventually. It took about four or five days of constant running to get it down. It works, but its damn slow. And it has to be sitting upright on the cover. If it doesnt land right or turns somehow it wont apply any suction.

Stopped working soon after install
Seller requires you pay for postage to return defective pump. Pump quit working....return guidelines need to be clearly stated in description.

Discharge Rate not evn close
Inground pool cover pump. Would like to know who evaluated and certified the GPH rating. Using with clean water at 16" of head with 3/4" discharge hose (25'), at a down hill angle. Not even close to rating.
