Outstanding Quality Clear Dash Cam even at Night!
Have this Dash cam since 1st week of April 2019, did make sure I have test and used it before posting a review, below is my thoughts!1.0 Front Camera is very crystal clear! Yes even at night, we are actually so amazed looking at the video been recorded, the headlight being on at night is so sufficient to record the details. Not gloomy, not pixilated. I would believed that it is a true 1080P HD.2.0 Rear Camera is also clear, not as clear as the Front camera, think the reason for that is because it is design to run the cable from the front main unit module going to the rear of the car, have not measured how long, but we did install it on a Mid-sized SUV category (and yes, still have at least 6-8” extra length), being said since cable used is thin having a phone jack connector, noise cancellation is not that great, so it is loosing some clarity of the video as it goes.BUT here’s the catch, all of the existing dash cam available in the market now is designed/using this type of cable having a phone jack connected to the main unit module (the dash cam rear glass monitor itself), might not easy to use an HDMI type thick cable and trying to hide it during a neat installation (lol). With the 3 different brand/supplier did test (even seen a Front and Rear Camera pixilated at night!), this is still by far the best, would still give it a 4/5 rating. It is rated as 1080P, as described, this might be the limiting factor to maximize the video clarity. Still, we are so impress, clear at night, not pixilated.3.0 Excellent Customer Support! I have several discussion with them, though limited contacting them by email, I do feel I have the response needed, mostly within 24hrs. or less. Have several issues bring up and did request few Firmware update and as well as discount for my 2nd unit purchase (🤫)4.0 Miscellaneous and accessories: Other than the cable having a jack connector for the Rear Camera, GPS device and the Cigarette Lighter power adapter, it all have a decent length and able to run and hide the cable without any shortage with the length. The Main Unit Rear glass monitor itself is well built, clear screen real time video and very responsive touch screen! We have received several compliments with this so clear wide angle display! In fact been asked by several friends and colleagues for me to send out the link on where to get this same exact model, as there are a lot out there, so beware, they are not all built the same base on what I have tested!5.0 Issues: Yes I mentioned it somewhere on this post, seeing an occasional Rear Camera turning just plain black screen, it happens only during turning on scenario, once you are in the parking and start the engine, the only way to resolve this is to unplug the main unit module power adapter, removing the jack connector will not help. Seen this 2x so far owning my 1st dash cam, so far not on my 2nd unit.. well, time will tell, if my 2nd unit behave well, I might trigger a Warranty replacement on my 1st unit (let’s see🤞). As of now, working with the tech support closely that hopefully the firmware update will fix it (if not a lemon unit on the 1st unit🤔)6.0 Tips and Input:6.1 Hopefully the supplier will include a good size wide flat panel tools for installation, the one included is way too small.. So I did used the other tools other supplier/brand include for seamless and easy cable hiding on the seams and seals..6.2 Memory card is also not included, hope supplier will consider it. I did purchase and install a 32GB then later upgrade to 64GB without issues.6.3 ADAS is a good perks that this unit have, it is not perfect as your 50-100k car, but having this on is useful, yeah it beep a sound not that loud enough, but not annoying enough, so we leave it On and there is an LDWS calibration that you can do, vehicle must be on a moving state on a normal traffic to further optimize it, it check the lane and calculate the distance of car in front of you. It beeps when you are out of lane (assuming there are a clear line on the road, sometimes it got confused with shadows and asphalt line-like patch), it beeps when driving too close with a little late breaking and it beeps when the vehicle in front of you move (good for the stop and go reminder). You can Enable or Disable this feature.6.4 Check your car Cigarette Lighter Power adapter (the power cable adapter included have a red light indicator), if it provides a continues power even the engine is Off, the dash cam will continue to record (like 24/7), my wife’s car dash cam Turn Off when the engine is Off, mine remain On even the engine is off (this is not a dash cam issue, it is your car design is), there is like $7-$10 solution for that, look around amazon for a power adapter with switch, install one and it work pristine, power on at a touch of push button. On the advantage of utilizing your car battery as 24/7 recording, I think should be ok, this unit is not enough to drain the battery within 12hrs (my opinion for such a small device as long you power off the LCD monitor with the push button at the bottom, yes it is still recording), since you will drive your car next morning or so, of course not for long term storage recording (you will be the 1st one to do that, let us know your experience😁)Overall, I would highly recommend this unit as a good safety investment and recorder for your car👍👍👍 I am planning to get my 3rd unit for my Dad’s car. And since we are so happy with this gadgets, this is the longest and detailed review we ever post. Enjoy and don’t think twice✌️8/19/2019 UPDATE:After owning and using this unit for at least 3 months, we are still very happy with it! The 1st unit turns out a lemon and did receive a replacement without any further issue as described! Outstanding customer service support! Highly recommend!!!

Needs improvements
It has a nice rear view, and the continuous video capturing is nice to have. I did not try to back-play so I can not vouch for it.Here are some problems:1. there is no real operating manual so I had to figure out how to set it up.2. The driver-assist is worthless as it beeps all the time and you need to use the front view to see its guidance. While doing so you have no rear view. Dangerous!3. In bright daylight the mirror is too reflective and interferes with viewing the rear streaming. Dangerous!4. Night vision is poor. Dangerous!5. The park assist is nothing more than a distorted rear-view with 2 "painted" fixed lines that do not react to the car direction. This is not park assist by any measure.6. The rear camera is supposed to be I1080 but the connection is analogue (2 wires), not digital. I don't think that this is possible to get real 1080 with 2 wires...In short, this is a very nice BASIC rear-front camera devise, nothing more, nothing less. Is it worth $119? Not for me. Especially when I had to pay Best Buy $180 to install it properly and professionally.

Just had a chance to look at the product
02/22/2019 - So I just started looking at the product. Unboxed it, everything seems to be there. It will take you a little time to get it charged up the first time, so give it multiple hours before you even try using it, otherwise it just keeps shutting down on you. Just from the initial first look, I'm rather impressed with the build quality. It feels lie a fairly solid unit, doesn't feel cheap at all, well build. The attachment taps seem pretty solid, overall from a physical perspective, it's a little nicer then I thought it would be. The software (menus) seem pretty straight forward and well laid out. So I picked this unit for a couple reasons: 1) Front and Back 1080, some had 720 in the back. 2) ADAS I'm looking forward to test this out. It's a cheap replacement for the $2,000 packages on a new car, granted, not as good but it's better than nothing. 3) GPS, not really sure how much value your going to get, it's not like there are maps to show your location or anything; get to display your speed I guess, big deal... 4) The size was about right. Saw some peoples comment on some of the units that were around 12+ inches and they said it was fairly large, which sounds about right. This one fits my mirror pretty much perfectly. Not too small and not too big. My mirror was about 8 7/8in wide and it fits fairly well, I just need to move the sliding camera out about 1/8 to 3/16 in out to fit the mirror. I was worried about the top not fitting properly since the cables are on top and I really only have about 1/2 in max on top from the top of the mirror to the roof, but it looks like it might be OK, we'll see. So consider getting a wire tap (just tapping off the POS+ from the reverse lights), maybe some clear or colored silicone to water proof your hole in the trunk since you will likely have to drill a hole to run the cable for the reverse camera and that's probably about it. I picked up a hard wiring kit which it looks like it has everything else need. Going to do the install tonight or tomorrow, so I'll post back with install results and how the unit operates. So far so good....Oh ya, forgot to tell you about the bonus which was nice.... The specs say 64gb max. I plugged in a 128gb card and it formatted in the unit without a hang up. Pulled it out and plugged it into my laptop and it saw all 128gb. At full HD 1080, you get 23:59:38 time of recording (then again I didn't have the back camera hooked up yet). That's pretty good, I was thinking that staying with the 64gb limit may have been an issue, but maybe not now. I believe that's only a limiting factor if you decide to format to something other than FAT-32, just speculation. I'll keep you posted...
