Poor design, round disk sticks on the walls of the vent casing keeping it in an open position for birds etc to enter. Even if it had a spring closure, as most other design have, you'd still have to file, cut or trim the round disc for it to close. This has nothing to do with the installation as it was already like this straight out the box. After install it was exactly the same.

Very good outlet, functionality good, but did not fit the 150mm silent Fan, no flexibility of this product to adjusting it to the back of the Fan, hadn’t been easy to use it ! For that only 4 stars, otherwise 5 ! Recommend to lock for the size of the outlet to fix it easy ! W

Poorly made. The backdraft preventing flap hangs loosly but sticks on the sides of the cowl which has distorted inwards. No good trying to bend the sides out as the wall mounting plate pushes them back in again.Its a cheap product so rather than return it I will shave a little bit of both sides of the flap which should allow it to function as intended.

Bought to stop backdraughts, it does not work in windy conditions. This is the the third device fitted in my bathroom ventilation ducting - a non return flap , a manrose dual flap device and now this on the outside wall , with 3 devices in line you would think that the backdraught problem would be solved . Guess I should have tried going out under the eaves and then turning the outlet back towards the wall thus minimises the cross wind effect .

Relatively easy to fit apart from fitting the cowl. One side would not click into place until some excess plastic removed. Was thinking about fitting another to the upstairs shower vent but discouraged to do so because of this defect. No fun messing about 20 foot up a ladder. The wind still blows in.

A waste of money the the butterfly lid will not open and closed because the outer part is bent inwards the valve never opened and when it did it fell out don't waste your money I'm just annoyed I have to give them one star

Items are a bit flimsy, backdraight shutter does not close properly.

It jams open so pointless went to diy store got better
