Baar Cold-Pressed, Cold-Processed, Hexane Free Castor Oil, 32 Ounces

I love all of Baar Products. The castor oil is my favorite. I use it for castor oil packs. Very pure ingredients, non hexane free. I wish this one came with a pump bottle applicator though. But I love using it with the Baar Flannel Packs.

I have been using castor oil packs for over 30 years. I use the small size sold by Baar. It really doesn't have to be too big, just measure from your navel around to the end of your left rib. I often cut the pack into smaller sizes if I'm using them for other areas of the body, Any problem that will benefit from increased circulation and increased lymph flow. The whole idea is that the oil is absorbed, and like any oil, it lubricates; it helps to bring nutrition to the area via the blood stream and remove waste via the lymph system; a simplified explanation. I'm not a medical practitioner. It's good to use a heating pad,securing it in place with a towel folded length-wise or a LOOSE ace bandage. It can also be used without a heating pad. I know people who put the pack on, wrap plastic wrap loosely around it, and sleep with it all night. I haven't tried that, but the heat of the body drives the oil in like a heating pad would. It would probably take a little longer though. The quality of the Baar product is excellent. I don't even find it that difficult to remove from my skin. Just remember to protect your bedding. I bought a shower curtain liner that I keep just for use with castor oil packs. Cheap and good protection. I put an old towel on top of it for comfort. But this way I can use a lot of oil and not worry about leaks. Castor oil is the very best treatment for the bumps and bruises that toddlers are prone to. You know how they always fall into or against things as they learn to walk. You can even dab a little on a child's forehead and the child won't cry. It works faster than ice and removes the pain right away. Of course I am not advocating neglecting to get professional medical help where a serious injury may have occurred. I'm talking about cuts and bumps. if you are a new user, be sure to buy one of the helpful books on the subject to inform yourself of the many uses of this wonderful oil. And honestly? I try it on things that aren't in the books. Never seems to make anything worse! Just better!

I feel like I can take this internally and I have if I need to and it clear up eye infections I put it on a qtip and rub along my eye and lashes and this castor oil clear up all eye foot fungal infections I have like a charm its gooey but what can I sat it just works and works well and I don't have to see the doctor so thank you Baar I also use on my hair but I cannot go out with it only scalp so I use argan oil on my scalp a good quality one during the day and sometimes I use the castor oil on my scalp and leave it on my scalp at night with a cap of course and then wash it out in the morning it is very moisturizing I wish I did this more but I get tired and only do that every couple of weeks it works on foot and toenail infections and eye infections as well that are fungal I have used on my dogs ears that had a fungal infection and it cleared it up this bottle is huge so this is a good quality and good bargain as well the Italians in Italy call castor oil hearts of palm Christos translation Jesus palm it tastes really good people always say yuck and I say its not cod liver oil honey its castor and they always laugh I say yes it tastes very good you only need like a teaspoon of it daily it is strong

It does work good on the feet

I heard about castor oil from Barbara O'Neil. (She is not allowed to practice in her country, and understandable for her knowledge and wisdom would make one seek a doctor less with her ways of healing. For a couple of years, I've had intermittent pain in my left thumb when I write; I write a lot. I would have to splint the thumb for days at a time. Reading about the benefits of Castor oil, I decided to try a small poultice of it with a bandage on my thumb one evening. in the evening. The next morning it seemed to be loose, I removed it, and to my surprise.... It's been over a month, and no pain in the thumb.
