A powerful pump
It died in less than a year that, being 9/11 and purchased on 09/22/2018. What is my recourse/

Does not function as described.
Purchased the 2450 to be used with new pool safety cover. After pool was closed and the first rains came, I tried the unit. This was after the 30 day return period so I'm stuck with it now. It is supposed to prime and pump in 2" of water. It does not. It will not start unless it is submerged in nearly 5" of water, then it shuts itself off after pumping a few seconds. Pretty useless as a cover pump. It allows way too much water to accumulate and the weight of the water is a severe strain on the cover. This is simply not suitable for the advertised purpose. I would return it if I could.

Very fast pump, poor hose quality
I used this pump to drain a 1,200 gallon spa. It drained within 30 minutes, as expected.The one problem is that the provided hose is of very, very poor quality. Very thin, and had pinsize holes when it arrived. That's why it's 4 stars.Buyer beware.

Great purchase.
Works just like it should. Does not turn off automatically but gets almost all of the water off my pool cover. Was able to open the pool with no dirty water slipping in.Pumps water very quickly.

Seems to pump good. Hose is not that great busted on first use. Just need a more durable hose.

Does not have an automatic on/off when water is detected. I returned the pump
