A bit in the expensive side but they work.Amazon do a cheaper add on version that is identical!I place a strip of filter wool matting around this and it still fits into the filter slot. It keeps these pads cleaner for much longer. You can tell when the extra wool is blocking up by the water level dropping in the back chamber.

it's ok, however, as someone said, i find that I need to change it every week rather than once a month as it recommends.... too expensive for changing it so often..i have decided to add another filter to my 19l tank and see if this can keep it better

Change your tank, really wish we had ordered a different tank, these filters need to be changed once a week, rather than once a month
